General

The VRayOverrideMtl - is a special material provided with the VRay renderer. It contains 4 materials in itself: Base, GI, Reflect and Refract materials.

With this extended material you can get a wider control over the color bleeding, reflections and refractions of the objects.

Parameters

Base material - this is the material VRay will use while rendering the object.

GI material - this is the material VRay will use while calculating the GI solution.

Reflect material - this is the material VRay will use to render the object with, when the object is seen in reflections.

Refract material - this is the material VRay will use to render the object with, when the object is seen through refractions.
